Happy New Year! Rede Globo’s Campaign: Um Novo Tempo – Lyrics and Translation
Um Novo Tempo (A New Time) is Rede Globo’s song to welcome the New Year. They have been using this song since 1971. Each year Globo creates a new video with a new version of the song. The video is joyful and features popular actors, journalists, and TV personalities. When I was a kid, I loved watching it and singing along. Now it’s your turn to sing Um Novo Tempo! Below you will find the 2013/2014 video with lyrics and translation from Portuguese to English. At the end of the post you will also find the making-off video of this year’s campaign.
