Is Halloween a Brazilian tradition?

No, Halloween is not a Brazilian tradition. With that said, these days you get to see some Brazilians having fun with Halloween. This is because Brazil has a large number of language schools that teach English. Those schools celebrate Halloween as part of the culture of the language they teach. But Halloween is not a big thing in Brazil and there is no trick-or-treating.

Basic Halloween Vocabulary in Portuguese

EN –> PT

Halloween = o Dia das Bruxas

Trick or treat = gostosuras ou travessuras; doces ou travessuras

Sweets, candies = os doces, as balas, os bombons

Orange = laranja

Pumpkin = a abóbora

Prank = uma peça (pregar), um trote (passar), uma brincadeira, uma pegadinha

Haunted house = a casa mal-assombrada

Costume = a fantasia

Decoration = a decoração

Jack-o’-lantern = o Jack da lanterna

Scarecrow = o espantalho

Black cat = o gato preto

Spider = a aranha

Spider web = a teia de aranha

Bat = o morcego

Graveyard, cemetery = o cemitério

Casket, coffin = o caixão

Tomb, grave = o túmulo, a sepultura

Tombstone = a lápide

Corpse = o cadáver

Dead = morto/morta

Bones = os ossos

Skeleton = o esqueleto

Blood= o sague sangue

Skull = o crâo

Witch = a bruxa

Sorceress = a feiticeira

Witchcraft = a bruxaria, a feitiçaria

Broomstick = o cabo de vassoura 

Candle = a vela

A spell = um feitiço

Magic potion = a poção mágica

Wizard = o mago, o feiticeiro

Magic wand = a vara mágica, a vara de condão

Horror movie = o filme de terror

Halloween Words for Feelings and Descriptions in Portuguese

To scare, to frighten = assustar

Scary, frightening = amedrontador, assustador

Frightened = assustado/assustada

Afraid = com medo

Spooky = mal-assombrado; estranho, sinistro

Creepy = repulsivo; assustador

Freaky = bizarro, estranho

Eerie = misterioso

Scary Halloween Creatures in Portuguese

Monster = o mostro

Apparition = a aparição

Ghost = o fantasma

Spirit = o espírito

Zombie = o zumbi

Mummy = a múmia

Vampire = o vampiro

Fang (long, sharp tooth) = o canino

Werewolf = o lobisomem

Death = a morte

Scythe = a foice

Devil = o diabo

 Demon = o demônio

Bogeyman = o bicho papão

Now that you have the vocabulary, all you need is practice using these Halloween words in context to make sure you remember them and use them correctly.
