Late last month, I heard about a new Brazilian documentary called Higher Self, or Eu Maior, and when looking for it online, to my surprise, I found it immediately on Youtube.
More than that, the Youtube channel seemed to be from the filmmakers themselves. It’s billed as “A film about self-knowledge and the pursuit of happiness” and it sort of has a “The Secret” feel to it, although more feet-on-the-ground. The description from IMDB goes on to say the following:
“The filmmakers interviewed thirty individuals with distinct backgrounds, including spiritual leaders, intellectuals, artists and professional athletes. Their touching personal stories, combined with the film’s beautiful images and music, are certain to appeal to any audience’s intelligence and artistic sensibility.”
I enjoyed it and thought you might, too! You’ll find it below and, if you’re worried about it, it does come with the option for English subtitles.
