<p>I am a barber from the Boston, Mass. area. I'm an American, of Italian heritage but I have had the great fortune of meeting and befriending a number of Brazilian people. I went into a Brazilian store looking for something and I came out many friends. I couldn't be happier as these are some the best people I have ever met. More and more we spend time together, including my attending a Brazilian church. One of these people is a beautiful woman who I have a special spot for and enjoy having her as a friend. Obviously she is a prime motivation for me learning the language. Luciana, I'm ready to go! My goal is to continue becoming better friends and part of that is learning Brazilian Portuguese. I have so much to say but more importantly, so much I want to listen to. I want to not only know them, but also understand them, their culture, etc. I took Spanish in school which in some ways has helped but in others has confused me due to the different rules in Portuguese. I have tried but have been disappointed in my lack of progress. Much of this I blame myself due to a lack of a structured study program and schedule. Sometimes I am reluctant to speak due to my embarrassment in making mistakes which also is bad. I need to break through soon and start getting this before I get frustrated. Luciana, in the very short time I've seen your videos I can say I love them, they are both helpful and enjoyable. You make me want to learn. I love your persoanlity and energy.
