New beginner group class starts October 19.

You are in for a treat. This is a partnership between Street Smart Brazil and Abadá Capoeira Arts Center.

Get the most out of your relationships with Brazilians and Brazil! Our program Roda de Português will help you develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Brazilian Portuguese. You will also get a deep understanding of the Brazilian culture and learn how to use the Brazilian Portuguese language effectively in formal and informal situations.

Roda 1: This program is suitable for those who have none or little knowledge about the Brazilian Portuguese language. You will learn to:

5. Cadê?	Where is the restaurant? Learn how to ask and answer questions about the location of places and things Improve your vocabulary to talk about interesting places in town
6. Você tem irmãos?	Talk about your family and pets Describe where you live
7. Quanto custa?	Ready to go shopping or pay the check? Learn the Brazilian currency and shopping vocabulary Talk about clothes and accessories
8. O que você vai pedir?	Talk about the future Improve your vocabulary of food Going deeper: likes and dislikes
