Aula Viva Was a Success!

We had our premier Aula Viva this past Saturday and to our delight it was a great success! The students were fully engaged in working hard and totally willing to learn and have fun. What a wonderful time Larissa and I had with the students. We worked long and hard to create this unique experience for students of Portuguese and we were rewarded by the outstanding feedback that we received.

"I was thinking how incredibly productive Aula Viva was and how much I learned from it. I thought the structure was perfect, and again I really am grateful that so much attention was paid to translation and pronunciation. The focus was always on the learning. In the hands of lesser people, it could have been more about entertainment and silly fun. But with you and Larissa, the entertainment and silly fun were tools to focus on the learning. Well, we have great news: We are already planning the next Aula Viva and a special workshop on phonetics to help you improve your Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation. You will hear from us soon; the next event will likely be in early June.
